    Could you give more details on the kind of user visible bugs that are fixed by this update ? What happens if the CE is not cleared during ini ?

    If you are getting the CE bit stuck on, it is likely a result of not having a clock present. Take a look at these posts: fscc-device-or-resource-busy-in-linux & fscc-error-code-0×57
