The FASTCOM: ESCC-PCI adapter is
the one of the most advanced synchronous communications
adapters in the industry. The FASTCOM: ESCC-PCI supports
data rates up to 10 Mbits/s¹.
The FASTCOM: ESCC-PCI is a dual channel adapter, with each
one being individually configurable to use HDLC/SDLC, ASYNC,
or BISYNC protocols. Although similar to the HSCX adapter,
the ESCC-PCI expands on our previous adapters with options
that allow for:
- CRC generation either CRC-32 or CRC-CCITT polynomials
(CRC-16/CCITT for BISYNC)
- CRC reset state all 1's or all 0's
- Manchester line encoding
- FM encoding (Bi-Phase Space/Bi-Phase Mark)
- Preamble transmission (with repetition)
- BISYNC operating mode, receiving and sending
BISYNC formatted data
- ASYNC operating mode, receiving and sending
ASYNC formatted data, in true asynchronous (no clocks,
data over sampled) or isosynchronous (async data format
with no over sampling)
- Software drivers are included for Windows 2000,
XP, 2003, 2003x64, and Linux kernels 2.4 and 2.6
