The
Fastcom: DIO24H is a general purpose, 24 bit, digital
I/O adapter designed for commercial,
industrial, and OEM applications.
In general, the Fastcom: DIO24H
consists of three 8 bit bi-directional ports and two input
lines for Interrupt Enable and Interrupt. The eight bit
ports are named Port A (PA), Port B (PB), and Port C (PC).
Port C is special because it can be split into two four
bit ports: port C High (PCH) and port C Low (PCL). The
direction and configuration of the ports is specified by
a control register on the board.
The installation and programming
of the Fastcom: DIO24H is quite easy, which makes
it a good choice for general purpose digital I/O applications.
Software drivers are included for DOS, and Windows 2000/NT/XP. |
